GSE One is a full featured Ground Support Equipment Controller for Hybrid motors.
GSE One supports both GOX fired (HyperTEK) and mono-tube hybrids. It can also be used for the old style, APCP, motors.

Features:

• Bidirectional communications between LCO and Pad modules uses RS-422 at 300 baud for rock solid data integrity even at a 3000 foot away cell.
• 1000 foot cable standard.
• Uses inexpensive readily available 24AWG, Category 3, 5 or 5e four pair cable.
• Over 20 hours use on a charge using twin 3000mAHr NiMH, 6 cell battery packs. Low power standby, GSE One draws only 70mA with no valves active. Batteries and chargers are available from most hobby shops. It can also run off of a standard 12V battery.
• Continuity detection when in mono-tube/APCP mode.
• Built-In audio amplifier for fill vent monitoring.
• Fill vent temperature sensing, indicates status at LCO controller.
• Integrated CoilSaver. Fill, Dump, and Oxygen solenoids are driven with low duty cycle PWM after initial 0.3 seconds to allow a small easy to carry battery to be used. When using the recommended double 6 cell pack, it hits the coils with the full 14.4 volts to open the valves then drops to a low holding current to keep the coils cool and conserve battery charge.
• Super bright green LEDs, visible in direct sunlight, indicate status: Ready, continuity, filling, dumping, firing and vent temperature.
• Oxygen valve opens before igniter fires for fast ignition in oxygen enabled mode.
• Fail-Safe design. Any error (lost com-link, multiple or conflicting inputs, low voltage at LCO or Pad) causes the pad to safe, all outputs are off by default.
• PIC16F628 based with schematics and source code available on request to registered owners.

LCO Module:

• Fill toggle switch.
• Dump button.
• Fire button with key-switch disable.
• Oxygen enable toggle switch.
• System/Com-Link LED indicates power and data link status.
• Status LED shows continuity when oxygen enable if off, fill vent temperature while filling, and flashes to acknowledge dump and fire commands.
• Phone jack for head phones (1/8th inch mono).

Pad Module:

• System master ON/OFF switch.
• System/Com-Link LED indicates power and data link status.
• Continuity LED shows continuity when oxygen enable if off.
• Amplified connection for microphone. (1/8th inch jack)
• Fill valve plug.
• Dump valve plug.
• Oxygen valve plug.
• Igniter plug.
• Temperature probe connector. Uses inexpensive 10KOhm NTC Temperature Sensor.
• Battery connectors.

Optional Features in the Deluxe version:

• Auxiliary outputs, 2 direct to battery N-channel MOSFET driven outputs with 2 toggle switches and 2 feedback LEDs on the LCO module.
  
• Auxiliary input, a switch closure at the pad lights an LED on the LCO module.
