Still a crude prototype, but it works. A small gearhead motor is driven by the 9 volts from a timer to release a spring loaded ball-valve.
The cylinder shown hold 3oz. of liquid CO2. It has been tested on a 6" and a 7.5" rocket.
I will add more to this page after I fly it in March.
A vent screw, #8-32 with nylon washer, (not visible) allows the flight tank to be chilled and fill to 80% with liquid.
The device in front is used to load the CO2 into the flight tank.
